My mufflers. I love the way the MAC Pro Dumps sound, nice and mean but the drone is unbearable. When I get outta the car my ears hurt. Might get some magnapacks and keep them dumpes, I know they'll be a lot louder but they have no drone. SLP's are not on the list, probably a toss up between the Magnapacks and some race bullets, trying to keep the cost down so I'm only swapping mufflers and I'll probably have the Pro Dumps up for sale, literally less than 20 miles on them. Are the Magnapacks pretty loud? They gotta be louder than the MAC's since they're straight through right?

Idk they were 199 new and like I said only got less than 20 miles on them, and they come with the turndowns welded on already. Maybe like 125-130 I guess plus shippings gonna be a b**ch. If it was local then obviously no shipping cost wpuld be added. Where you located?

Gotcha. They sound good but I can't take the drone. Dumps are amazing, they make the exhaust sound beefier and inside everything vibrates haha. I think I'm gonna buy some Magnapacks and keep the dumps, I don't have any tailpipes to put so its gonna be the mufflers getting swapped soon. Should be a lot louder with the Packs on vs the MAC's and a lot less drone which is what I'm lookin for. Now just wanna find them cheaper than $68 a piece =\

Yeah I plan on dumping them, only got the $ for the mufflers an installation not the tailpipes. There should be a lot less drone than these MAC's right? If theres a little drone i can take it but the MAC's hurt my ears if I'm just crusin around at 1500-2300 rpms.

That sounds good. Might go with some Dynomax race bullets, they're cheaper and maybe save some extra for those tailpipes. Those look really good especially the way they're angled up. With some Race bullets and tail pipes do you think it'd be louder than the mac's? I can get the Dynomax race bullet's for like $45 each then buy the tailpipes when I got the $$.

Im not sure how loud itll be since you still have the stock h. It may be louder outside the car but quieter on the inside

Gotcha. I feel bad tho cause my parents just bought me the MAC's for my birthday like 3 weeks ago but driving in the car both my dad and my brother said the drone is bad. I told my dad that when I start driving it everyday if it gets too annoying I'm gonna have to do something, he don't wanna hear it lol. Most likely I'll be getting some 2.5'' Dynomax bullets and keep those dumped and eventually get tails.

Just add tailpipes brother!

Believe me I would but then it's gonna be quiet again lol. Chances are I'm never gonna be able to put a O/R mid on it, so only things that would make it loud are some headers and good mufflers. Wouldn't hurt to try out the Dynomax bullets right and keep them dumped? I know they'll be loud, that's what I want but w/o drone.

You can always change the stock intake manifold out, it will increase airflow and give it a mild boost in sound. Headers also increase sound as do high flow cats vs stock cats. Keep in mind noise doesn't equate to faster, except in terms of getting caught.

you have no drone with magnapacks and an offroad H? I'd love to hear that. I didn't realize the OP had a stock H pipe, that changes everything. Honestly surprised the drone is too much with a stock H pipe.

When Im going down the highway in 5th there is hardly any noise at all. There may be some slight drone but nothing noticeable or annoying
