My t5 in my 94 gt need to be rebuilt but i have some extra cash to get something better. d&d makes a good new t5 that is built up but i was told i cant use it on my 94 because it is for a fox body which doesnt make sence to me i thought 5.0 was a 5.0 302 and didnt matter to bolt up.

please i need some new ideas or need to know what i need for this trans to bolt up.

go to d&d performance and click t5 on the left that is what i would like. (sorry cant post link i am at work)

$1000 + shipping will get you all the parts from my car to put a TR3550 in (including the trans itself)

the catch is that you cant have it until the end of march.... which is when I get home from Kuwait, for my R&R leave.

I would say 3550 also. If i would have had the extra money i would have gone 3550. I only had 600 to play with so i just had my T5 rebuilt with all new internals.

i wouldn't mind that but how can i trust you and i dont want to drive out of state just to see it in person before i buy.

Honestly dude, I dont care what you do. I was just making you an offer. I know what condition my gear is in. Hell, I drove the car to the place where its being stored.

If you aren't interested in a great deal on an awesome, low mile transmission... im sure there re HUNDREDS of other people who would be more than willing to jump at the opportunity.

The only reason its being sold is that I cant get the entire car sold as one piece... so im parting it out to build something else.

I am leaning tword something from a shop like D&D i cant just trust anyone.

what if i buy and 2 weeks later it started to make noise.

Is there just nothing out there for a 94-95 5.0 under 1500?

i got the car for $5500 i dont want to put a 2500-3000 doller trans in it.

anything you buy even new can go bad within two weeks. if you want a deal you need to buy from someone else and not new. i hear you on the trust part but it is what it is and not everyone is out to screw someone else.

your not going to get anything new for less then 1500. the trans i posted im sure you could probably get for a grand with the shifter. you don't know me from anyone else but i wouldn't have posted it if i thought there was a problem with it.

considering the number of mustang communities I belong to... It would be stupid of me to sell something that was damn near broken. But hey... i cant pressure you into buying it. But it will be listed up on corral in the next month or so.

I think we can all agree, you have a much better chance of getting a quality product such as addermk2's equip on a forum like this one, than you would if you bought it from ebay. at least on a forum such as this one, you can ask other people their opinions of the person who has the stuff you're looking to buy. Just a personal thing for me, but considering he is military I would have no problem trusting him or his judgement. But I'm recently discharged myself, so I know how much the word INTEGRITY is beat into his head. besides how do you know "d&d performance" is more trustworthy than a stand alone person. bussiness can be just as shady as a individual. Get addermk2's stuff on the cheap, and save urself some loot.

yes but D&D is one of the top rated companys who sells transmissions not just some shop/ some guy on a forum.
