Ive finally broke down and ordered the wireing for my subs that have been stairing at me for 6 months now lol
there 2 alpint type R's and a kicker amp (sx900 i beleave , may be the amp i had prior to this set up) with cert showing it pumping out 1025w's :headbang: For the time being im only doint the subs , but would like to do some infintys or type s in the doors and shelf. Currently running a chity battery , ordering a yellow top tho. Will that be enough to keep up wth a 1000w amp? do i need to go to a bigger alternator now or could it wait till i upgrade the rest of the stuff?

you should be fine. You might notice some light dimming while at idle but there should not be enough of a problem to cause an issue.

man save your money on the audio jewelry. You would be better off putting that money into a better battery or just wasting it on hookers and booze....

they are not much use to be honest. They store voltage, but you amps are current driven and those are two entirely different things...

well i wasnt saying that the redtop nor yellow top would be bad at all big fan myself. but not like hes running a comp set up just your daily driver usual in the audio department. capacitors are very useful so that the system doesnt drain on the electrical system as bad. interesting term audio jewelry havent heard that one before gotta use that one at work lol

caps store voltage, your amps are current dependant, two different things. The money spent on a cap would be better put to other uses.
