Weld the silencer ports shut on a roots style blower and it'll start screaming louder than a woman during sex.

But I've never heard of using JB weld though... that would scare me more than just welding the holes up and risk warping...

thats gonna be sick when its done! You should be right at 500 whp if its race ported and you have the usual bolt-ons...

I like loud whine. if there was a way to make a KB louder, I would do it.

5.0L KB doesnt sound as good as the 4V KB IMHO.

size of the blower and how high the car can revs makes that difference...

Yeah I got 10's in the rear recently and the centercap was a different size and I haven't got the Saleen stickers for them yet. I'm JB welding them to make it louder and some see a 5hp ish increase. I did some research on this first and no one has had any problems with them coming off...and if they did it would just fall onto the intercooler.

I've read some issues on that stuff coming off in chunks bro, and last thing you want is it coming off in the intercooler, I'm just trying to save you some trouble. I wouldn't ever jb weld the silencer ports, you can pick up some sheet metal. size and cut the sheet metal and tack weld in place. watching that metal doesn't get too hot on the blower (don't want it to warp) and vouilah.

damn it, i definitely wouldn't mind if my KB was louder. I'm guessing the main difference is i'm only pushing 9psi where's the Termies are running closer to 20psi from theirs... just a guess though. You can still hear mine but it's nothing like the vids of Termies you see online.

yup. my favorite YouTube video is a terminator running 18lbs of boost. The supercharger kit I have allows the usage of 4v blowers, you better believe I'm contemplating a KB haha

It just sits on the top of the intercooler IF it comes off. I'm not worried about it. Two of my buddies did it and have been driving around on it for quite a while.
