Looks like LMR sells a solid engine mount set that drops the engine 1.25"

Some like the solid engine mount feel of the car, some dont. Personally, im not taking the car on 10hr trips and I like the race car feel of solid mounts.
Is it just the vibration from the engine that typically gets to you or the interior rattling? I don’t mean to bring it up often, but my interior has no rattles since I’ve done my rattle proofing stuff, so if that’s the issue, the OP may find it helpful. I think it is something any SN95 owner will find helpful, I just don’t wanna sound like a smartass!

Why such tall valve covers, for the style and looks? I’ve heard of upper intake ears breaking off with tall spacers, but not sure the brand that had issues

When I bought all of the parts, based on what I was reading it was what I needed. So to be safe it’s what I went with. Honestly can’t say for sure if they are needed. I haven’t tried rocker clearance with standard height valve covers.

You definitely need tall valve covers for roller rocker clearance. Not that tall tho, as why you ran into issues. As long as it all fits and your happy that’s all that matters.

It was a learning process for sure, this actually is my first build bottom to top, a ton of learning! Still continuing, hoping to have it in the car within two weeks. Finishing up the rearend, waiting for my new torque converter, then I’ll bolt the tranny to the motor and drop it in.

Up and running now, made my best attempt at a base tune, just enough to get it to the dyno. Any tips or tricks with mega squirt would be appreciated. Through research and AI I have managed to get it running pretty good, just need an expert to tweak it.

I also have the majority of the stock motor parts that I won’t be needed if anyone is in need of any of that. Block, heads, intake, fuel rail, injectors, radiator, etc…

Any word on the dyno results through the aod?? I'm really curious to see the results of those sve185 heads! They look so alluring with the price

Probably would get more eyeball if you start a thread in the For Sale section of the Forum. List all, pictures tell 1,000… be specific and post prices.

It quite yet, just about finished with the tune, then I will have it tweaked on the dyno and I’ll post the results. So far she’s pretty damn nasty!

Side note… anybody ever had issues with Canton pans? I’ve replaced the gasket and sealed it and the damn thing still leaks on the rear arch. So I’m replacing it and the gasket Thursday, if I can get that taken care of that will be a huge headache gone!
