This is the hard truth I didn't want to face lol. They most definitely have been proven, it's just the adaptation that has me hesitant, learning all of this and doing it on my own tends to lead to buying the wrong parts or having to order parts during the install. I have made a cheat sheet so far for the TH400, bell housing, crank adapter, flex plate, TC etc. I have the superbell, PRW 164 tooth flex plate, snout adapter for GM TC to SBF, and then figuring out the custom driveshaft all on my list. With all of that the $$$ adds up, I was just hoping that someone would tell me the Lentech 4R70W rated at 1500hp would be good to go! It does come with a full manual valve body and trans brake, and custom TC. $4550 for the trans, and $14-1600 for TC. https://lentechautomatics.com/pricing/The TH400 is a proven component! Very tough! Ive witnessed a handful of friends pour money into ford auto transmission only to give up and swap to a TH400, their problems were solved afterwards
