Im in the market for a new ride, the contestants are 2 Cobra's, a Kenne Bell supercharged 2001 GT, and a S197 GT.
Mods for each car.
2001 GT 96 Cobra hardtop 97 Cobra Drop-Top 2005 GT
Kenne Bell Supercharger 100,000 miles New Top 12,995.00
$ 10,500.00 3.73 gears New Clutch 64,412.00 miles
long tubes BBK exhaust 40,000 miles
H-pipe 03 Cobra wheels C&N intake
Catback JLT Cold Air intake Flowmaster exhaust
Stedda upper and lower control arms $7,950.00 New brakes & tires
sub frame connectors Eibach Lowering springs
3.73 gears $ 8,100.00
built AODE
90,000.00 miles
cowl hood
420 horse

Which one makes more sense? I'm leaning towards the 01 GT, but I'm scared somethings wrong with the car because of the low price.

Help me out homies.

Are you looking for a DD?.....2005 GT.

That 40,000 mile Cobra vert sounds interesting also.

Honestly the 2005 GT is out of the question...... It's between the New Edger and the Cobra's.

Is insurance a factor??? I know a 03 -04 Cobra is only 10 more bucks a month on insurance then my 94 GT :)

I would look into the Cobra's myself

i say the 97 Cobra. The 01 GT is appealling but with those mods and the low price i would be scared that its been driven hard and could have something wrong with it.

the 97 and the 01 sound like the best deals. i wouldnt pay $7500 for a basically stock 96 cobra with over 100,000 miles on it.

97 Cobra Drop-Top for sure. That is if you live where its sunny, I dont like droptops just becuase it rains way too much here.

Im mostly looking at miles, its got low miles and DOHC no questions IMO.

id take a hard top over a vert almost any day, but that 97 is too good of a deal compared to the others, to pass it up. i dont know where you live, but here, id be cursing myself out in the winter time for buying a vert... but those nice summer days, sure make up for it. maybe ill buy a vert for the summer.
