Well my throwout bearing went. I've been trying to drive my near stock car as is for a bit to save up money, but when somethin' breaks, you gotta fix it. I made out pretty well and am overall satisfied with my purchase. I put a new King Cobra clutch in it as well as a Fidanza aluminum flywheel. The aluminum flywheel rides differently, but it definitely gets through the RPM range faster, especially from 60-100. I enjoy it a lot, and I replaced the rear main seal while we were down there. Feels good to know that my entire car is now completely preventative maintenance'd up and rides beautifully for a 135,000 mile 97 GT.
Anyone else have flywheels/clutch combos they're satisfied with?
