alright guys.

so im onto my phase 3 for my exhaust. i started stock, went to phase one with off road x and full magnaflow exhaust with 4 in tips; phase two i dumped the tips after the mufflers with the o/r x. now i have an idea that i would like to see come to life.

SO

if you guys are familiar with the s197 saleen extreme exhaust and the boss 302 exhaust then all i have to say is im going for a love child between the two and the baby daddy is being identified as the svo side.

saleen extreme

boss 302

svo exhaust

now...what im trying to design - and how the exhaust will flow for the system is what im trying to figure out - is a mix between the boss and extreme. i want turn down tips AND another set of pipes in addition to the dumps that will come out the side and look something similar to the svo from the side. the closest ive come to figuring out the exhaust flow is a 90 degree y pipe to weld in after the mufflers and that way i accomplish the dumps and can still have the pipes flow out the side with addition.

how will it sound? i have no idea

will it be loud? it already is

unique? i think so

this should also ad some more weight to the rear since the car doesnt have normal full length tips (out the back over the axle). but this also raises the question if i will be able to fit full length sub frame connectors.

i know some of you may think its cool others that it sounds retarded but its my car so i dont really care if you dont like it but how would you accomplish something like this for all you geniuses out there?

Use a couple of z28 type style muffler. The muffler has one inlet and 2 outlets. Side A has 1inlet/1outlet, side B has 1outlet.
Use side A inlet from catback. Use side A outlet to side pipes
Use side B at rear end like the sallen extreme.

ive thought of a single inlet dual outlet but since the inlet isnt an offset, its more centered, wouldnt that bring the mufflers too close to one another?

edit: nevermind, theres a muffler that will solve that issue, thanks man!

SOMEBODY make the muffler you want. Spintech is good about specialty setups

If you want something different, use a 2" pipe sized mufflers as long their is an X-pipe used. Turbo style like, no flowmaster copy. Youll be happy
