I know the new Cobra intakes from Ford Racing generally get panned as junk & I think are made in China...but specifically what is wrong with them? What makes them so bad ?...are there no good qualities about them? LOL...I like the clean polished look to them without a lot of extra work...but don't want to blow my mod money...thanks all...

C'mon y'all...Anybody else have an idea why I shouldn't buy a brand new Ford Racing Polished GT40/Cobra intake? Don't they flow the same? Do they not bolt up right or seal well? I would like your inputs please...thanksd

sounds like nobody has used them? I have an old factory one I ported and look forward to polishing the outside of later on.

From what I've heard they have a smaller baffle on the lower than the oem ones which causes the PCV system to suck more oil. Also heard they are made in china and have casting flash and core shift issues. Just some things to think about. i picked up my OEM 95 cobra U/L for around 250 on corral.
