New Guy in Austin TX

Just picked up a 95 GT for under 2k. First Mustang, but not entirely new to Fords. I'm sure I'll be back with all kinds of questions once I gauge what all I'm up against.

A few things about me:

1) I live in Texas, but was born and raised in Philly
2) Intermediate skill level mechanically
3) I'm really good at the Interwebz
4) Daily Driver is a 2011 Mazdaspeed3 that has broken a few pony hearts in it's time/

Looking for locals who know the shops, have spare parts, are down to help wrench, etc.

Anyone know any good shops/knowledgeable members in CTX area? I'm looking to throw some 3.73s in this piece ASAP. 2.73s are KILLING me. Past my comfort zone skill-wise.

SCT tuner arrives today.

95's are OBD1, so I'm assuming you mean it's an SCT chip? They don't make handheld tuners for pre-96's.

Allies Automotive are your best friends. Chris owns the shop and they specialize with Mustangs. They did clutch work and reworked my suspension on my last Sn. Really great prices as well. I lived in Austin for 2yrs right off of Riverside Dr in Downtown Austin. Loved it and miss the damn place.
