Bought the black beauty head lights from latemodel restoration. Not satisfied with the fitment at all. I think they look pretty good compared to stock. Pulled the car out of the garage to snap a few quick pics. Not the best quality. Also tinted my tails and cleaned up some rusty rotors, installed a raptor shift light and windshield wiper deletes. Enjoy.

Notice how the driver side corner light sits up higher. Aggravating!

Tinted Tails. Don't mind the dirt :p

Wiper deletes, painted black

Rotors had a little rust buildup type junk, looked terrible, just sanded them up a bit. Turned out pretty good.

Finally the raptor shift light. Nice little mod.

When it finally warms up 5% tint will be going on. Let me know what ya'll think!

Looks good! I say you keep the tails they way they are!! Don't change them to 96-98's! That corner light would drive my nuts, too probably!

Very well done :thumb:

I've thought about getting smoked headlights/corners a few times, not really sure how they'd look on my car/color though.

is it just the black beauties that have the alignment issue?

I'm not real sure. The rotors were on the car when I bought them, but I believe they are frpp.

Looks good. You should get 96-98 tails and then tint them.

I will be leaving the 94-95 tails on it. Debated on 96-98 but I want it to be distinctive 5.0 ya know. Plus I kind of like the looks of them.

looks great. how did you tint the tails. which spray.

I used the VHT Nightshades on them. Took the lights off , masked it off, roughed it up with some medium grit sandpaper, hit them with a few light coats. Not too dark, this stuff runs badly. Then after a couple coats, hit them with some finer sandpaper and then enough coats to reach your desired darkness. After that, about 5 coats of clear on them. Turned out great!

Thanks for all the comments guys. I debated on a s281 wing as a lot of people don't like the stocker. I think its sorta unique and like the way it looks. Plus, it's hell to get one to fit a 94-95 so it's staying. 5% tint is coming with the warmer weather and maybe a 96-98 cobra rear bumper with inserts. Not sure as its hell to find one. I think it's corny the rear says mustang instead of cobra!

I hate after market corners for that reason. But your car looks sickkkk. I think if you threw on a black ford oval, it would be PERFECT!

I'm not a fan of tinted tails either. But I love everything else about the car. The wheels look great. The driver side headlight looks to be lower which would accent the poor fitment of the corner even more. That would drive me nuts. No one would notice it unless you told them, but when you know it's there, your eye is always drawn to it.
