So i bought a 95' GT in December and now with about $2300 into it (including the car itself) the only things it need are paint and a hood because the one on it is cracked. So it's a laser red GTS and i had in mind keeping it the stock color, dark forest green or dark shadow grey. opinions? tips on where to get it done in central CT that won't cost to much? and if anybody knows somewhere that i can get an OEM styled fiberglass hood for less than 200 (lowest i could find) that would help too.

I love all of those colors, but I'd say stay with Laser Red. Fresh Laser Red is SCHMEXY

I say go back to Laser Red! If it's the correct Laser Red, how can you not want it? I'll show you mine before & after. Even had a 1/2 & 1/2 pic made to show it better. Here ya go.

Laser! Glows during the day, sleeps at night. I'm a fan of keeping cars their original color.

I personally love DFG (obviously), and DSG is sick too...but if you are trying to keep costs low, repaint it Laser Red.

i think i'm going to get it LR. I'm replacing the hood because they would probably charge out the ass for the labor time repairing it but ill bring it around and get prices. After seeing 1STOF3's LR I really like it. Plus my spark plug wires are now red. Plus my step dad said his dad has some sick wax that he used on his camaro that will make my paint look new again but we'll see. the less i have to pay for paint the better, but it is unavoidable because the clear coat is shot on the hood and front fenders.

The kids that did mine couldn't do a color change. If so, I'd go black. Once I saw the true LR in person, loved it.

Is yours 2 stage or 3 stage?
I'd be willing to bet it's the 2 stage.

PJ you had yours repainted 3 stage right? You have pics?

yes, 3 stage. the 2 stage seems a bit brighter than the 3.

My pics are with a cheapo camera, so it prob doesn't reflect the actual color very well. I had the front repainted in the stage 3 last year.

The bottom pic prob shows the color the best. That was taken with a nice Nikon

keep it red... Its gonna cost you alot more to get the color changed unless you leave the door jams red... That and when you pop the hood the engine bay will be red...

I just spent 2 weeks preppin my car for paint before I sprayed primer... It was an ugly ass green color so I'm gonna repaint it black... All the extra work involved in a new color isn't worth unless you hate the color... But lazer red is pretty tits IMO.
