Thanks. It's got a forged 351w, with ported trickflow heads, vic jr intake, built c4 etc. Little bit of nitrous will make it run!

High horse 514 BIG BLOCK engine, with dove heads with manley valves

With nitrous dont think its ever been sprayed but its all plumbed and ready..
built c5 trans with a stall converter, slap stick shifter and reverse manual valve body..
it has been frame tied
the car hooks hard and straight.. it has very nice black cherry paint with custom true flames that looks awesome!..

Sick car dude, looks like a beast.

that car on craigslist doesn't have flames on the front bumper.

Probably has a different bumper on it for driving around, racing etc, and the flamed one for shows.
Edit: I actually looked at it this time and the flames are completely ddifferent. :tongue3: My bad.

Totally different car man. Mine has a completely different setup, and it's got a black interior. Different paint job too.

Sweet car. Going to need more cage to go 9's, but sweet platform nonetheless. Make sure to post some pics or vids of the next time out at the track!

Gotta love the T-tops too.

Thanks and a 10pt cage is good through the 9's. I'm keeping this car in the 10's though, I don't want the rest of the hassle of the safety requirements that start at 9.99 and faster.

Nice looking stang, I can't stand it without LED wiper pisser nozzles, but other than that it's killer! lol. Sweet ride, sounds a lot like the one I have for sale as far as powerplant and driveline. Yeah, not much more you need than a jacket to go 9's with it. Most tracks that's all they check for.

Oh my bad, didn't realize it had a 10 point in it as it's not in the pictures, and it says 6 pt in your sig.

I hear you about the safety equipment hassle. It's pretty crazy the jump from 10.0 to 9.99 as far as safety equipment is concerned.

That's my other fox in my sig with the 6 point. I just got the flamed one. The other is red. The flamed one doesn't have a roll bar or cage yet but it's getting a 10 point.

I took it to the track last Friday, and made four passes on motor only. All of them were 11.74 or faster with the best pass being 11.56 @ 117mph in 100 degree weather, and I was short shifting it 700rpm as I didn't know how long it made power. This car is full weight and has zero weight reduction at this point. No sub frame connectors either. I'm pretty sure I can get it into the very low 11's on motor once I do my thing on it. It will definitely go 9's on spray. Only problem is, I blew out my transbrake and reverse on my last pass. Still working on fixing that. I got a couple vids. Not sure which pass this is, but I know it wasn't my best one. Here they are (ignore my reaction times, I wasnt there to cut good lights. I was learning the car) You'll see good lights when I bracket race it.
track burnout

1.72 60ft was the best. Was having trouble hooking. I'll get it dialed in next time.
1988 351w Mustang pass
