my car ( 95 gt vert )may have to get the engine pulled and swap in another motor, in that case i m weighing my options on what other engine i can swap in and stilll keep my bolts ons and longtube headers , edelbrok intake manifold..etc.. i wouldnt wanna do a engine swap and not be able to use the aftermarket bolt on parts i have for budget reasons... i got a quote from a mustang salvage parts place for just under $1000 with shipping for a stock 94-95 gt motor but i m thinkin if i can find something better this is the time to do it if any.. thank you all again and helping a newb out.. take care

Ur manifold and headers will work on any 302 based motor. Try and find a explorer motor with gt40 heads not the p ones as ur long tubes won't work

What are your goals with your car? Why does your engine need to come out for rebuild? Leaking oil, smoking, low compression in a cylinder, rod knock........?

Do you plan to do the work or hire someone? If doing it yourself, what is your capability level?

my family member is a mechanic so i m lucky in that sense i have someone to teach me, i would like 350 - 400 hp being long time goals,, i know 350 may be more realistic.. my mechanic telling me theres a knocking sound and theres oil coming out of one of the tail pipes .. i m just weighing my options and looks like the crate motor a lot of people are not for and to rebuilt the current motor with better heads.. i m just a new b and dont know anything when it comes to boring out engines and that part of engine building.. thanks again guys for your help and input ,,, more i look at it if i need to do something with my motor now is the time to do it to have it ready for spring.. thanks again..
