Had a good weekend at the track. Got the car down to a 7.49 at 95mph 60fter in the 1.7 range. Unfortunately I broke one of my upper control arms but ran my best time in the process lol. Will be pulling the stocker 8.8 out and beefing it up with a new Ford Racing 31 spline trac lok diff and moser axles. Will also be going to a 3.55 gear and solid sperical bushings with some better double adjustable upper control arms.

Mine is 2.73 as of now and ive got a set of 3.55 waiting to go in., but im not sure if I want to make the switch. The 5.4l torque monster fears me of wheel spin.

You should be fine with a 3.55. I made over 400rw tq and could lay down some pretty good 60fters with my 3.73

I've been looking at this a lot lately. It seems like the general consensus is if it's a street car, run a filter...race car, run a guard/screen.
