Yeah, youre right. I guess if its not raced and isnt being tuned already then that could be more trouble than its worth.

Whats the progress on the mustang? You ready for race weather yet?

Its ready to go for the most part. Just need to finish putting in my gauges and center dash piece I'm having made.

Well truck should be good to go again for awhile. Cant say I enjoy working on the 3v like I do the 2v but really had no choice.

First video does not do the dieseling sound justice. It was getting bad

Wow, you really sounded like a powerstroke lol. I would have heard it and thought, "damn someone did a f150 powerstroke swap, thats pretty cool".

Haha all my buddies called it the cummins swapped f150 lol. Going through the bank or fast food drive-thru was the worst. I may end up selling it now that it is mechanically sound and get something newer. Not 100% sure I want a truck payment right now though lol.

It was 65° and sunny yesterday in Iowa. Had to fire the car up and let it see some daylight. Heres a quick warm up vid with the new ignition setup.

UPDATE: Dyno tune has been scheduled. Car will be heading to SD on April 27th for its tune. Will be going to Excessive Autosports, I've heard really good things from them.

That dash plate looks awesome!

Youre going with an eddy intake arent you? Youre trying to take advantage of the new rev potential......

Along with the goodies on the way for the engine I decided to upgrade all my feed and return fuel lines to -8 and -6 along with an aftermarket fuel hanger with AN fittings. Havnt ever put together ptfe fittings before so will be a good learning experience.

Does anyone have some reccomendations on how to route the fuel lines? Pics would really help

I just finished mounting all my lines and will be showing pics on how I did it but in the end I just followed the stock lines. I used all of the stock mounting points and added more then a few as well but I want to be sure its not going anywhere.

That would be great to get a visual. I was looking at how the stock routing was and Im not so sure I like it in the driveshaft tunnel. My exhaust would be directly below the line so I may try to route it further on the passenger frame rail.

Just glad to be ditching this restrictive stuff!

lol I thought the EXACT same thing before I got the hose. Once I got the hose and started to try and figure out how to get it ran around the axle and the rear control arms which looked like some fun only to leave me to run the hose directly above my side exhaust mufflers where it would be REALLY close. In the end I opted to get some insulation wrap for the section above the exhaust. I can probably get some pics today, have you ordered your parts yet?
