Well, after MUCH time and some effort, the Rotrex kit on my car didn't work out.
Tad is gone, and his partner is too involved with his regular work to fix the belt issue they were having....

So, I'm on to plan B..... :coolsmiley:

It was nice meeting and hanging out with you for a while, by the way. Hope the trip back went well. :)

I'm gonna put 2 and 2 together here.

You met Craig recently
Craig is like the marketing director or something for Hellion Power Systems

Time for Jeff to get boost the proper way?

Cool man. Turbos are neato.

Sucks that all that time with your Rotrex was a huge waste.

that really does suck man I wish you guys would've went thru with the whole rotrex thing. It would've been really tight. Plus you could've had a little piece of tad in your car dal :)

oh well man, it was cool while it lasted, gl with Plan B lol

Ding ding ding, you guys are sharp!!

I know, it was a tough one.

hehe, yep, I've had this in my head as plan B the whole time.
Hellion's sweet SS Intercooled Kit, 62mm Turbonetics turbo with ball bearings, and bolt it up to my lil 2V.
Should do nicely :)

Along with that I'm swapping the IM to the new Edelbrock 4.6, shetmetal elbow and bigger TB.
I'll have to get a pic of this (on my work computer)

I agree Mystikal, it is too bad, the Rotrex has a very efficient power curve, closer to a turbo than any other belt driven.
Whoever does it - they will sell.
My buddy here in SLC recently finished kits for the 05's and they are selling between 10-30 kits a week! it's crazy!
their web site.... crap, it's at my office. I"ll post up soon on that if you're interested.

Anyway, the turbo will be sweet - that's what I built up the car to push to begin with.
It's shipping next week, and I"m not going to even try and guess on a date...

Hellion kits are very nice. I've got 3 close friends with their stuff. Only one of them is on a 2v though. Stock ass 01 GT with the Hellion kit, Accufab plenum/tb, Dynomax mufflers. It put down 441/494 at the tires on roughly 10#. They're defiantly making quality stuff. Can't wait to see it on your car.
