no spark?

what causes my spark at the distributor to barely be there and i think it was white, not blue at all. I'm having firing issues due to spark right now...should i get a new dizzy? i have all stock ignition

check spark quality at the coil. It might be getting lame.

other than a bad coil, the only things that would change spark quality would be the resistance of the wires it runs down

i checked it at the distributor, the wire from the coil to distributor if that makes a difference...

always check from the furthest out, and work your way in. if you have found an issue there, check directly AT the coil.

if you have the same results, check the voltage TO the coil.

you may find its a bad coil. Or you might find that you have voltage drop in the wires that lead up to it.

just keep working your way back up the system.
