When looking up the PI swap, I read that the cams/valvetrain are supposed to be noisy the first time you start the car, and it goes away quickly as oil pressure builds. Well, my cams were noisy as hell, and my oil pressure came up, but a month and a half later and they're still incredibly loud. Here are the main details:

-The PI heads & cams I used had 0 miles on them when I installed them.
-The car keeps oil pressure after being started, loses oil pressure once the engine is cut off.
-I oiled the lobes before putting on the valve cover, as my shop manual instructed.
-I completed my PI swap about a month and a half ago and have near 500 miles on the new parts.
-I have not found any leaks or drips while the car is running in the past month and a half.
-The noise tends to disappear after taking a highway trip of about 90 miles or more. (doing 2000rpm most of the way)
-I DID move my oil galley plugs from my NPI heads to the PI heads.
-The noise gets faster as you climb in RPMs.
-I have not driven the car hard or past 3k rpms since the swap.
-I have driven up to 3k about four times since.

This is really bugging me, and the noise went away today until I drove up to around 3k rpm, then it came back loudly and didn't go away. Any thoughts?
