Alright, so I was having issues with my headlight so I replaced the bulb and now it works great. But I looked inside the bulb where it plugs in and it looks weird. Could it be the plug in that caused that problem in the first place?
That's what my dad told me, what can I do to fix that? Just buy a new connector?Mustang Mark said:the connector was getting rather hot perhaps?
i guess so, unless it was caused by a short somewhere.auto_x5.0 said:That's what my dad told me, what can I do to fix that? Just buy a new connector?Mustang Mark said:the connector was getting rather hot perhaps?
That sounds legit.DESERTCOX05 said:maybe the connector wasn't plugged in completely and was arching. and that was causing the extra current flow thus the extra heat
So now that I replaced the bulb and it's plugged in all the way I should be fine, right?DESERTCOX05 said:maybe the connector wasn't plugged in completely and was arching. and that was causing the extra current flow thus the extra heat
I will do that when I get my new headlights2tone5.0 said:should be fine but if your still worried put dielectric grease in it.
