nylon/plastic bushing that the shifter ball sits in

does anyone know where i can find a replacement bushing the the shifter ball sits into .... i put 2 in it already and ive busted both of the them craming gears
do they make a high performance bushing or is the factory ford replacement going to be my best bet?? .....the car is a 96 cobra

go to tremic's website and use the "find local dealer/mechanic" link somewhere on there and give them a call... ask them if they sell them, when they say "no" ask them how much you can buy one out of a blown up tranny for..

they gave me a brand new one for $10.00. my stock one had a wear spot on the side and i didnt want to risk it...
