I'm curious what type of bushing you used. I bought both the stock nylon and a bronze one. Bronze is self lubricating, probably lasts longer, and may provide a more positive feel, but I didn't care for the vibration that came through. I went with the nylon. It feels fantastic now, very slick indeed, and I don't feel any play.
To be clear, I'm running a blueprinted Borg Warner T-56 from an early Viper and a Pro5.0 shifter. Slicker than eels in a barrel of snot.
This T-56 has the paper lined blocker rings and requires traditional, not synthetic, Dex/Merc ATF.
