o/r x pipe problems

so I installed all my exhaust on my car (still have to get vids for you guys)

but I got mil eliminators for the rear o2 sensors. I got my first pair and I plugged them in and I actually got a check engine light on all the time instead of just every once in a while. So i called up LMR and they said they might be bad so they sent me a new pair. I put those ones on and same thing.

cel says o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 , " " bank 2 sensor 2

anybody have any problems with this before?

some cars do this. Mine is one also. MILs dont work on them. DOnt ask me why, but they dont. I had a CEL until I got a handheld and turned them off for good.

mine worked till they fried out and kept popping my ECU fuse, had to take them off and roll with it for a couple months till i got my diablo. I went ahead and had a custom H for the flowtechs made, so there isn't even a spot for them anymore :hammer:

i've sent back 2 pairs now, i'm just going to keep sending them back til i get a pair that works :nonono:

the funny thing is that when i don't have the mil eliminators in i get a cel for abut 20 seconds a week after I take them out and then it goes away forever.

or you could just do a search and listen to what I said. They just dont work on some cars.

well there are also people that go thru like 4 sets and the 5th one works. i asked on sltmustangs and that happened to a couple people.

idk maybe i'll get lucky.

yup. and that cel WILL come back on after about 150 miles reality. mine didnt have one for awhile then it popped on. i didnt even bother with mils, went straight to an xcal 3

i gotta pass emission and whatever tho. right now i don't have mi's in and i don't even have a cel i haven't had one for about a week and a half now

well i don't knwo what i can do to pass emissions with my o/r x pipe then? because i'll still get a cel if I get a catted x pipe from what i've seen and heard.

I've drove atleast 250 miels with no CEL and no mils. it came on for about 2 seconds a couple weeks ago before i got the mil's and then it went off. i'm just confuzzled.

if you want something to solve all your problems and give you a little more go fast, get a tuner. mine was only like 370 from lasota and has been one of the best additions i have purchased

I wonder how many more times it has to be mentioned that a handheld can turn off the CEL.

lulz, I say you just keep sending them back. I mean just because you do something 6 times and it doesn't work, that doesn't mean the 7th time isn't the charm

you guys crack me up...lol. Soooo when you pass the ECU part of the emissions test with no cel, what will you do when they simply look under the car, or hook up the sniffer to the tail pipe?

If you say they dont look under the car, or they dont do a sniffer, I KNOW they arent going to fail you for a CEL.
