i have a 96 and since it has the O/R X-pipe. the O2 sensors were zip out of the way. is there anyway to trick the system. because i would assume that since they are notin the exhaust anymore, that they would read "lean" and make tell the comp to dump more fuel. which would acually make my car run rich. and how do i hook up a Air fuel ratio guage?(there an unhooked one in the car)

sounds like you need mil eliminators.. basically their a sandwhich connector that gives the computer a good 02 signal all the time so no check engine light..

and also you'll need a wide band 02 sensor if you choose a a/f gauge so you'll have to go aftermarket with that.

from ur posting im taking a guess ur rear 02 sensors are not screwed in. which if this is the case ur front ones are. ur computer reads ur front 2 02 sensors untill it gets a strange signal then it sends a 2nd signal to the rear 02 sensors to get a re check of exhaust emissions. so unless unless ur front two sensors are not pluged in or ur engine is running a little off. ur rear o2 sensors shouldnt effect ur compter. but just in the case that it does turn to the rear sensors for a 2nd reading ur gonna need sum MIL eliminators here is a website here near me that has them. there farely cheep and will keep ur computer from reading bad 02 sensors. it cheats the system and u allways have correct emissions. http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb...~S2D70O3QVF71114241916b~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z50000081a
the website says there out of stock but just call them cause there not very good with updating there inventory. i go there in person and there allways friendly and ready to help. hopefully this will help u out some. if u need anything else just email me [email protected]
