Obd-II?

i have a 1994 gt and my Odb-II conection has no power to it and nothing can be done through it does anyone know what it could be that this doesnt have ne power?

i think it was put there in preperation for wiring it into the 96+. in other words, i don't think it's supposed to work in our cars.

ok what do we hook up to for a diagnostics check with our cars, i was at the dyno last night and the guy couldnt find it under the hood so he looked under the front dash and found the obd-II but nothing came through for him he tried telling me in 94 the hook up was under the hood and in 95 they switched to the obd-II conection so he said my car was a 95 but the vin says its a 94, there was also an old hypertech chip in it and the sticker on it was for a 95 gt aode.... im just really confused?

Its actually 96 they started OBD-II the 94-95 had the hookup on the passenger side right by the hood hinge that where you can hookup

yea you should see it its a rectangular plug about 2in long i can post a pic if you need

Quick note the 94/95 v6 used the obdII conection (under the dash) all 5.0 (87-95) use obdI.

yearp no obd2 for 94-95 thats why i havent cut my exhaust for dumps yet is that blasted ASM test i have to do here in tx. (i wish i was still a state inspector.)
