I was poking around my car this past weekend and noticed my car has a OBDII connector. What the hell does it do? I would imagine the computer doesnt talk to it right? I didn't have my code scanner on hand to check it.

Does anyone elses 94-95s have one?

Unless you want to convert your car to OBD2 like the explorers.
Yep a ton of work too LOL. I have a friend who swapped her '96 V-6 to a Emissions legal 347 with the full explorer setup, coil packs and everything.

All of the 94-95 mustangs were wired identically from the factory. The only exception was the 5.0's had the OBD-I connectors placed in with the engines. Just depended on what was hooked up to what. SO yeah, the OBD-II connector is useless.

Also works that iif you don't have fog lights from the factory, on the 94-95's you have the wiring, just not the lights.

All this is of course with the exception of the GTS's

Was talking more like door lock wiring, window wiring, vanity mirror lights, etc with the GTS's Didn't mean the fog lights :p

Although they may have all of that wiring too... not sure. They may all be wired identically.

I apologize for speaking without complete confidence.

IIRC they are all wired all the same.
