so you have an aftermarket transmission style cooler, thats it????? you'll just need a sandwhich adapter plate and the correct fittings and lines. i dont think any car is setup like that stock. the coolant just runs around in the "adapter" and then back out on the stock setup, as the oil passes. atleast thats what i thought.

yeah, you are going to have to get all custom stuff for that to work. not sure what you were looking for at the junkyard. all the ford OEM oil coolers arent auxiliary coolers like that.

No stinky pile you need both pieces, he ALREADY HAS the adapter, for a cooler, he can use whatever he feels like running lines too, wherever he feels like running lines.

No, The adaptor for the cooler is 100% different that the oil filter adaptor.... You need both pieces of the "Oil Cooler".

you two are talking about completely different things. you are talking about a factory setup, Jr is talking about an aftermarket adapter to run an axillary oil cooler, like a tranny cooler....

well, either way, infamous is not talking about OEM stuff. and Jr keeps talking about mounting the cooler anywhere he wants, so he cant be talking about stock since the stock cooler is bolted to the block........

I have the AMSOIL full flow by-pass system which helps cool oil and adds capacity. Great unit. I don't need to change oil anymore. Change full flow every 5000 and the by-pass every 20000. I use AMSOIL exclusively. I am a preferred customer and get it wholesale. Best deal ever
