Hi guys recently Ive notice that when i drive on the freeway and get off and drive on to regular streets and i stop at a red light my oil gauge flickers meaning the arrow goes back and fourth. Ive checked my oil and its fine Ive checked my transmission oil and its fine so I'm asking for ur guys help if anyone has had this problem that can help me out so i know what i have to do before i take it to a shop and they start telling me well lets try this and lets try that and make me spend alot of money on stuff that wont help the problem i have. Thanks alot guys.

first you need to get a real oil pressure guage. to verify your oil pressure.
there should be a place on the block where the sending unit can be removed and the new guage can be installed.
is the engine making any unusual sounds when the oil light is on?
It could be just a sending unit.
Or it might be bad.

Check it with a mechanical gauge to verify you have a oil presure problem. Or you could just replace the sending unit and see what happens.
Thank u guys, No it does not make any sounds coming from the engine bay beeing that said i wont have any problems with my engine or my oil pick up right? Most likely i just have to replace the oil sensor that u guys said. Well thank u very much i appreciate the help.
