Well while I was taking about my car today i noticed when i took off my CAI there was oil on the throttle body. So my q is can i just cap the hose going from the valve cover to the cai and just run a breather filter? Im pretty sure I can just wan to double check.

The oil won't hurt anything. When I capped the hose myself, I had pretty significant PCV problems. You're better off leaving it IMHO.

+1, get rid of that useless weight. my lines leaked so i took mine out, and the smog crap too. i just run a short belt, a/c and smog eliminator bracket's and pullies are a waste of money.

Mine's on the driver side strut tower. I had some significant PCV issues, so my catch can is pretty big. Plus I have two lines from the valve covers to another vapor canister.

I also use an oil separator, i read that quite a lot of [Cobra etc] lower intakes have a very small oil baffle by the pcv outlet, so with a bit more pressure inside its easier for more oil\vapour to get into the pipe.
In fact last time my 95 Cobra intake was off i compared the oil baffle to stock, its about half the size.
