ok, have a question...

i hace cobra r rims on me car right, and the tires are 255/40/ZR17 i have a nail through my back tire, on the drivers side.in the tread out the side wall.... the guy at the tire shop up the road said that i can get a kumho tire shipped mounted balanced and all that jazz for like 71 dollars... my dad said that it will mess up my rearend just because its a diff brand of tire, and cause the tread is differemt. is this true? if so, can i get away with puttin it on the front? please help here guys.. (and gals)

so long as its the same tire size and the other rear tire is fairly new, it wont hurt. if one tire is really worn out and the other is brand new, the worn out side will be spinning faster and might damage the lsd. if he can get you a new tire for $71, i would say get the pair. ALWAYS either buy 2 at a time or 4 at a time.

yea, well...... mom went to casino in michigan, and hit for 5 grand... ill ask for the wheels from her for christmas....
