I don't think brand has anything to do with it, it's just how the Mustang headlights are.

I have 6000k headlight's and 6000k foglight's I drive 30-45 minutes to work at night and 30-45 minutes to work in the morning while it is still dark, with both the head/fog's on and nothing has ever been hot enough to melt... :dontknow:

It's not the color of the HIDs it's the Wattage in the fog light housing. The 55w tend to melt the lenses. You shouldn't have any problems with a 35w in the fogs or a 55w in the headlights
