you'll need at the very least cam, roller timing chain, and new valve springs

yup, i dont like the stamped steel rockers since i have seen them crack from high miles but you dont need to change them.

and i have seen the ford racing blue roller rockers (bolt down) fit under the stock steel covers.

BTW...

As a note to all:

Every 94/95 Mustang I have installed a cam to..comes with a cheap horrible timing chain. Ford must have gotten cheap with the timing chains in 94. You want to replace it with the double roller like out of a 87-93. Make sure you get the whole thing, not just the chain.

The FRPP ped mount roller rockers will NOT fit under the stock valve covers, if you go that route you will need fox or tall valve covers. I would suggest the fox as I had to make many modifications when using the tall FRPP valve covers

The timing chain also should be replaced as well

Check out my HCI change thread in case you want to use the tall FRPP valve covers

The stock stamped steel rockers are 1.5 ratio. And on the cam card for a E303, it calls for 1.6 ratio rockers. I have no idea about the
B303 though

Its not until you surpass the .520 inch lift that you gotta worry about 1.7 ratio rockers hitting stock pistons. 1.6 will be fine. for almost any street cam. if you have doubts, measure.

Lift has very little to do with PTV clearance. You want to watch duration more than lift.

I would not be to concerned with lift until you get into big duration numbers ie: 230+

You want to know when the valves are opening.

I have a cam with .513/.529 lift with no problem.
