hopefully it will but this car will never see rain and won't be driven much which may not be good for testing the reliability of it. i would probably blast it, epoxy primer, and hit it with a colored raptor truck liner if it was to be driven daily. Bad Penny Camaro sports that liner and it is truly a 100 thousand dollar dd.

Dude that is gorgeous!

Thanks for letting me pick your brain.. I just want to pick the right stuff because it's a ***** to remove if you don't like it. I think I will do either Rustoleum spray (just like you did), or spray on bed-liner. Sorry for the thread derailment, but it was worth the pics of 'Bad Penny'. :)

Looks like an awesome build! Can't wait to see the finished result and how much power it makes.

My friend finished degreeing my cams into 112/114 for my turbo today, I also picked up all the minor stuff like alternator plugs belts etc to finish motor, tonight I finished my 31 spline axle install with wheel studs etc and set the rear end in. Tomorrow hoping to have tranny and engine in the car.... Not very happy with the fr500s seeing as they are the biggest whore wheel on a mustang but I couldn't justify 2500 for ccdubs until I get the turbo system, fuel, tranny and all the bugs worked out... 2500 will pay for my whole turbo setup... I'm sure someone will agree.

well the motor is in and it runs... but the past two days has been hell, i put my tranny in and the clutch wont disengage, the brakes won't breed i think its because i had the calipers off for over a month because old fluid is still flushing out, the e brake springs wouldn't go it, i had massive vaccum leaks, my ccrm went bad, than the fuel pump did too, but it started up and ran fine although alota smoke coming from my cop covers? my tuner says its the new rings seating... anyways, i had to pull the tranny back out tonight and im gonna have my dad see why my clutch won't disengage.. and my original front bumper must have been dry rotted so when i took it off bumper to repair my ccrm it cracked in half! tomorrow im hoping to get the breaks blead and the tranny back in and drive the car, oh and the car won't idle but i think its cause the speedo cable is missing or iac. i never got to drive it as when i got it the car was blown up -____-. heres the pics...

yeah apparently the cable wasn't fully disengaging. it runs good has a timing cover leak, and i smell anti freeze like hell. i cant find any leaks anywhere... i think the radiator has a small leak... idk.

Hmm weird ... Heater core maybe . Glad it's running , that's the one thing I hate when putting shit together having to take it back apart for leaks

Well I placed the order for my on3 forward facing turbo kit last week and expect it to arrive this week. I went ahead and started to dissemble the the exhaust system, intake, bumper, and delete the cobra coolant lines. I will be running the complete on3 kit with the 70mm kit until the funds arrive for a turbonetics 76mm turbo, and turbosmart waste gate and bov. I will be using the glenns performance 1400 hp kit and I plan to do away wit the cobra radiator and make a regular 94-95 gt radiator work to delete the ugly ass overflow tank and just have a simple in and out line.. This build won't be super quick but should be updated weekly.... The goal is somewhere between 650-800 hp depending on what I feel is comfortable with the car... that is on a the t76 btw, I'm sure im missing somethings but oh well.

Current Motor mods:
Stock forged crank
Manley H Beam rods w/ arp 2000 bolts
manley 9:1.1 comp forged pistons
arp main studs
arp head studs
livernois valve springs
manley retainers and valves
balanced assembly
stock b heads and intake

The car has a full upr setup as well as a built rear end, the only thing left is for when the t45 grenades on me

Pics of the car...

Thats where I left off tonight, hopefully the kit will be in soon and progress can really start, tomorrow I plan to drain the oil, anti freeze, and start installing the GT line setup.

Man that thing is beautiful. Hope it all ends up working out for you. I drive a 98 cobra that I want to strip it down bare and polish/clean/paint up and get it looking brand new. Also have been planning on breaking down the engine and getting her completely cleaned out, but think I might wait until I buy new pistons.
