We've got it pulled apart now. The frame has been snadblasted and painted and we've got to get some motor mounts and a new gas tank that'll mount under the bed. I want to get it running again by the end of August, but I doubt it'll happen... No money for the parts :crying:

i love that generation of GM truck and the one after it (short bed fleet side only) stick with that thing man, the older the car the more complicated, time consuming and expensive the build, and totally worth it

We're planning on doing a sort of restomod to it. I'm trying to my dad into lowering it (3"/5") and upgrading to disc power brakes but I don't know if he'll ever do it. We're going to paint it yellow with black stripes down it and my dad is going make a custom two-tone sorta bed for it. It's gonna have oak and cherry wood in it (I think thats what he's wanting to do) Anyways, the bed will be pretty awesome. We're going to put a gas tank under the bed or we might find a big keg and turn it into a gas tankd and mount it in the bed. The interior is going to be painted to match the interior with the stripes contining through it. We thinking about puttin bucket seats in it and building a center console to house a new head unit and stereo junk.

I don't know how much will actually ever get done, but thats what we want to do. We'll see though...

Have you seen Joe Bowles silver 67 C10? That thing was pretty nice. He dropped keys with a guy for it. Gave up a 93 softtop Jeep. His was the stock 283/three on the tree setup.

Nope.

I've heard of it but I haven't seen it. Do you know Howard Montez? Drives a newer red ranger and works at McDs? He has a 64 and he says his dad has a 66 (I think...) with a 454 in it. I really want to see that un.
