New pics today, put my 17's back on, got the front-end redone with help from Dad and got the alignment done this morning by an excellent local shop.
All I used on the paint was Obsessive Detail's quick detailer, it's a freaking phenomenal shine booster as you will see. And it smells like cotton candy lol
Here we go... Picture 1- the way the early spring sun was hitting the car demanded that I take a pre-flight pic: (Interesting notes: if you look in the upper left-hand corner of the pic you'll see the Stone Beige Metallic 1997 Bonneville SSE I owned a couple years back. What a pile of junk- my neighbor, who has owned Bonnevilles for like 15 years, has it now. The HUD was pretty nifty though :thumb
Under the tarp is an old WWII Jeep my other neighbor has, but it has no paperwork with it and is basically useless.)
Oooooh the shine! Remember kids all I used was Obsessive's quick-shine. Used it on my mom's Mountaineer too. Man this stuff is good!
Lookin' good mang!
From the train station 2 minutes from my house. *waits for the anti-4x4 crowd to start up*
Hittin' the bricks
Discovered this dirt trail the other day, knew instantly that I needed to use it in a photo shoot
Lovin' that mid-March sun
Blatant disregard for parking in the lines
Curbside at the lakes in town. This is also where I go running... lol gotta start again
Old volunteer ambulance building. They've since moved into a brand-new facility. I get a sweet photo backdrop.
Got back home and put my sn95forums sticker on... well, one of the two.
It was too good an afternoon to pass up so it was time for the first shine-up of the season. I've come to the conclusion that I'll part with this car under one of two circumstances: it dies, or I die.
Gotta head to Advance tonight and see what my latest CEL is all about. Detailed my interior as well but didn't have time to vacuum, I wanted to get out while I still had that brilliant sun.

Added something to my car after yesterday's pics. Can you tell what it is? No?
Here's a hint:
I'm a member of my local Mustang Club too. We're affiliated with the Mustang Club of America.
A couple of my mom's 2000 Mountaineer, two-tone green with 107K. 5.0 and 3.73's FTW!! The heads and intake on this 5.0 actually flow better than the ones on the 5.0 Stangs, and are an upgrade from stock 5.0 fare. I believe they're GT40 "X" heads. All I did was wash, use Meguiars' Hot Shine on the tires (personal favorite), and used Obsessive Detail Fast Shine. The glow the paint has is radioactive! (Needs a visit from the clay bar fairy though).
All that nuclear shine and I only needed this much fast shine: You all need to buy this. Now!!
Today I'm doing my headlight relay upgrade if it warms up a little, will take pics as I go.
