overdrive shuts off on WOT

When I was driving home I wanted to see how my car well do with the new tires I turned off my od and when I was going down the highway 3rd shift it around 5k and the overdrive turn on and shifted to od I have been in a lot of stangs and in my understanding is when u turn off od its suppose to cancel od any ideas what it could be?????

I had that problem too, but by the time i was looking into it, it went away. Id like to know what the hel happened too.

If your not 100% wot it could happen. It has done it to me before. Just lock it out and stay 954 ad counts LOL aka wot

Would that be the tp sensor sending the wrong signal

Im not real sure. I notice when im tuning my car. If i don't move the floor mat it wont go wot all the time. But i set up my tune to not lock up or go into od under wot...
