i believe our fans pull pretty good. I don't know what the cfm's are. the sumitt fan is only a single speed. Have you ck'd to see if both speeds are kicking on on your current fan

As far as the fan goes, if the stock fan on High does not pull what the summit fan does with its one speed doesnt it make since to go the summit fan route?

With the wiring harness being hacked up the way it is I might have to re- hard wire he fan in and with that it would be easyer to wire in the summit fan and work right over having to figger out how to wire in the stock fan on high all the time.

Im going to try that first I guess. Im afrad that after i wire the stock stuff back up that the cooling fan will not work. I know that it will not work on the hi side cus of all the other wires that are cut and missing the overflow.

It really may be easyer to go with the summit fan and this kit to turn it on and off: http://summitracing.com/parts/SUM-890015/

I need this car on the road and i really dont have the extra money to track down alot of problems with the stock wiring.

Will this setup keep my car cool?

And again I ask with the stock CFM is on the stock fan on high mode.

i don't know of anybody running an aftermarket fan with a stock motor. which means the stock one is plenty strong enough to keep you cool. if everything is working right.
it looks to me like your puting a band-aid on top of another band-aid.
It's your money dude. good luck

The stock one will cool to your hearts content. It's the stock radiator that could use an upgrade. Drop the coin, repair the factory wiring and get that controlled by the ECU. Replace your ECT and sensor for the gauge. Make sure your CCRM is functioning correctly, and get the wiring out of the way. Your high and low will work and function factory and you can go from there. That butch hack job of wiring is useless and will only start a fire.

I'm w/ everyone else. I'd just fix the factory wiring. It's not that hacked up from what I'm seeing. Working correctly the stock fan does a fine job. If your dead set on something different I think the 95+ ford contours have a nice dual fan setup that possibly pulls 3000+ cfm but then again you'd still need a fan controller and to relocate your factory overflow as you will most likely interference.

I would use the stock fan and radiator. it cools my 300RWHP beast in stop and go traffic on 100+ degree days here in the Mile High City, and worked in Honolulu too.

Do not use that fan from summit unless you can somehow use the factory shroud or you will just be pulling air from a little circle around the radiator and it will not cool very well. The shroud helps get air through the entire radiator.

Just get a direct replacement fan. You do not need to get an improved one. Get the wiring straightened out and go from there. If its really a mess you can just run a ground wire to the fan and turn it on running a switch to the interior.

So tonight I put the wiring back to stock and big surprise the fan now does not come on at all. So now I need to figger out what was wrong with the stock setup for why he hard wired it in.

Also, There is something going on with the passenger headlight. If the headlights are on the front blinkers don't work and the back one blink really fast. If the park lights are on the blinkers work fine. The reason I say the pass headlight is the prob is because its really dim. And when you turn on the headlights the pass side front park light goes off. But with the park lights on the pass side park light works fine.

Also I noticed that the passenger front wheel looks like its sitting closer to the rear of the front fender then the driver side is, So I don't know whats going on with that. :(

wow you really have some problems there.
Your HL's might have a loose or bad ground.
Pwr to your fan comes from the ccrm. so make sure your getting pwr in and out of the ccrm.
It also controls the a/c and fuel pump.
good luck
