Us hardcore SN95ers are all about this import stuff and little mods like the FR500 wheel which sets them apart from the rest. I my self waited for a deal and paid about $350 for mine, people pay upwards of $500 for these, $500 for tails (with a little amber corner), and $250 for fender flares.

I can honestly say that I don't care much for the fender flares... yeah, they're different. I would even say that on some cars they look fine. But to be honest, I wouldn't put them on my car if I found a set for free.

The mirrors on the other hand look pretty cool, but not worth a couple hundred dollars cool. Everybody has priorities and all of our tastes are different (at least to some degree, and some are more different than others, haha).

Basically if this stuff is worth it to you then so be it... at this point I think it's past my bed time and I'm rambling... now, what point was I trying to make again...

It's all about making your car unique! most of us don't like the ricey stuff, but basically want our cars to be unique! I myself don't want a cookie cutter Cobra! I want my car to have thing's on it that not ever Cobra or Mustang will have!
case in point... look at my pic! no rice here but the car does have some unique item's that not every Mustang has! export mirror's and a T1 :la:

your not alone that you would not pay for nor install if they were free but yea, some people go nuts over them. Not my thing either but not my thing to judge. Let them have their fun, spend their money as its not from your pocket.

Exclusivity cost $$$$ :)

Not many of these out there, and the ones that can be found are not that easy to get so you pay more to get them.

Its also a cost to affordability thing. If I was 20 years old and scraping together cash for an intake or cams etc no way I would buy these but I am old and financially stable. I also have just about every performance part bought so a few extras is all thats left. Its either I buy some over priced mirrors or the wife buys another pair of shoes she wont wear.

im not saying anything against them, please dont think i am. im just saying that for the price id hope they work like beergoggles, minus the beer while your driving!! lol

some people say im nuts cause of what i paid for my cervini's H.E. hood, but to me it makes my car stand out and thats why i got it. im all for making your car stand out.....which is probably good since im having to roll with flat black primered fenders, a white hood, missing bumper, and missing side skirts.....ahem, ONYX!!! lol

seriously. i just asked earlier cause ive never seen mirrors that high and thought there may have been at least a kiss on the cheek or something when you paid that much for them!!

Based on the picture it look like ther is a "joint" in the mirror housing. I would go with the care color on the mirror section & black on the base portion. on my '98m I used an AEROFORM cowling cover with the amber turn signal on the front of the mirror and pained it entire piece Pacific Green. I thought it looked nice having the mirror the same color as the car.
