Painting interrior parts

Thinking its time for a change. Was thinking about painting the interior parts but im not sure, what do you guys think. What color would be a good color to paint them. My car is red, but i think that if id paint all the : int parts red it would just be to much, whats your guys opinions, any good color suggestions. Anyone on hear paint there interior, Id like to see some pics if anybody has any.

anything other than painting it black or grey looks tacky imo. I've seen SOME tastefully done but often it is poorly executed and the finished product looks like you said overboard. Black it all out or do a tasteful two tone.

don't forget to do all the necessary prep work, otherwise it will look like sh&$

yea black would be good but without proper prep, it wont look good

The proper products to use are called SEM. You can get them at any auto paint supply store. Its what the OEMs use.

I redid the grey in my car and added a few new grey parts.

But yes follow the instructions on the can and do all the prep work or it will peel off.

There is nothing wrong with doing a splash of red. I did that with the purple in mine on the seats and doors. But be tasteful about it.

I added some black to my interior. Not a whole lot, but just enough to coordinate it better.

Nope those are stock seats with custom skins.

The center section is called CarbonFiber and looks alot like the Mach1 comfort weave. It helps having a friend who does interiors on the side. :thumb:

Same color as the exterior the only other think i plan on painting is the door inserts that have the switches in them. all my interior lights are red to.

Wow, thats um.... bright. Maybe high contrast would be a better way of putting it. Is it red? Looks kinda orange. But what do I know. Ford calls my car Sapphire Blue and it looks freaking purple to me.

Looks like you could use some new seat covers. The leather Ford used just didnt stand up to wear and tear did it.

Not sure I like the red/orange on the left and white on the right. IMHO it should be white on the left too. Then do the surround IN the instrument panel red/orange/whatever.
