Painting Stock Wheels Black???

Do you think my car would look better with the wheels painted black?? Do you just sand and paint or what?? Any advice will help Thanks

I think I just saw those rims painted to black. Let me try & find them. I say go for it. I have no idea on how to do this, sorry!

Sorry, I've looked @ too much today. I have no memories of much. I'll get on later to try & find the pics.

i say leave it as it sits. it looks good. especially with the tinted tails and spoiler.
what kind of spoiler is that nyways? i want one!

I honestly dont know the name of the wing i think someone said it was xexon wing or something but not a 100% sure.


I wanna paint the wheels black because it just seem out of place with the sapphire blue paint plus ima finna tint the windows and since the tails tinted, the side markers tinted, gas door black, and finna paint the bottom of the rear bumper black i thought what the heck paint the rims black too.

I thought I had it found. I remembered saying, "I like you painted the rims black." It was on Tri-Bars, though. I know I have seen these in black though. It might take overnight, hoping it will just hit me.

I just did my fronts today. You just sand with 320, spray color, wet sand and then do the gloss. I didnt let them dry overnight before putting them back on so we will see how long they last

i think it would look sick. Look through the 20 or so pages of wheels on the SN-95's thread on Corral

I went through the thread i found what i was looking for but it was a side shot and couldnt really see them

Ok so i sand it down, clean them up, spray the paint, let dry and what you mean by do the gloss

I did my 99 cobras in black. Realy all you need to do is scuff them real good just get the clear coat off, then clean them, mask off the tires, spray light even coats and buy a gloss black and maybe some clear too.

When you say gloss and clear does that come in a spray can??

i painted the same wheels flat lack for my car the other day.. just cleaned them, wiped them down with acetone, let them dry, mask off the right spots, and sprayed... i'll post pics soon.
