Parts Installed!!!

Well after a long weekend and a few minimal problems I got my PI intake and PI cams installed. I drove the car tonight and for such an inexpensive mod ( about 200 dollars altogether including gaskets rtv etc) the overall increase is great. First off the car sounds slightly different (deeper) but remained mostly the same. The motor runs quite a bit smoother full throttle or just normal driving witch is really nice. The power increase is for sure noticeable especially from 4200 on, it just keeps on pulling!!! So far I am very very pleased and would recomend these mod to anyone! For sure the best mod I have done so far!!!

Id say that your right about the 30hp. My old nitrous kit had 35 hp jets and when I installed the kit that is what I made my first run with to make sure everything was working right. The swap feels about the same as the 35 jets as much as I can remember. I just love the way it pulls to the top now. I bet it will scream with a 100 shot lol.

man, i cant wait to do that pi swap! At what rpm's would you say you stop making power? I know that on my 96 npi, i stop making power around 4800 or so. Especially since I replaced my lm 2's with flows.

My car with the old setup would stop pulling at about 4500, I had my shift light set there to short shift it. Know it pulls all the way up to 5500 at least and i moved my shift light up to that



Also Ive got a set of longtubes on the way how much of a gain do you guys think I might see? Is the sound diff noticeable?
