pass side window making noise!

I just started having a problem with my window yesterday! I had my window down and when I went to raise the window it was clicking and barely came up, in fact it had to be helped along with my hand in order to raise the window! now it doesnt go down if I try to lower the window it clicks and clacks but nothing! does anyone have any ideas what it wrong before I take the door panel off and start looking around!

Check the condition of the regulator (aka arm/crank), as well as the window motor itself.

I had a similar problem a couple years ago. Window kinda wanted to go up crooked. One of the arms on the regulator had actually become torn.
Go back to Ford for the replacement as the replacement part has been through a design revision. About $126 wholesale. Retail, ???

Sounds like a motor or crimped wire might be causing some problems.
