I agree i hate to see people do this putting cobra badges and cobra bumpers on there car which i see ALOT :bs: its like trying to make your car something its not just my thought..........And its crazy that everyone who try to clone a cobra dont have the performance to back it up

I was at the tire place the other day and a kid w/ a fox body was there and was checking out my car and didnt realize it was actually a cobra until he looked at the steering wheel and he was like ....Oh its a real cobra... I was thinking yeah it is, Im not one of these idiots who badge out their GT and turn it into Fobra w/ the hood and bumpers as well

I hope your not accusing over half the members here of being Fobras because we have Cobra front bumpers. I like the look WAY more than the stock one, more agressive with nicer lines. I won't put cobra badges on my car, my wheel center caps have them but that's it .

I favorite Pass Time guest was a fairly young guy who just bought a Mach 1 (red), he was happy with a kool-aid smile and everything. He then blew the motor @launch, felt bad then laughed quit a bit.

I said BADGES along w/ the bumpers, hood, exc exc... I have no prob w/ hoods, bumpers exc exc.. Its the badges that are ricerish

+100000 i agree, the bumpers. hood, side skirts whatever can be cobra,saleen,roush etc. but as long as u leave the gt badges on, dont fake having a cobra or salen unless u have the cojones under the hood

Well im accusing half the members....... When people do that it just defeat the purpose of ford making a gt a gt or a cobra a cobra If thats the case Ford might as well just start making the v6, gt and cobras all have cobra badges and bumpers what you think???

They wouldn't do that, all the body parts and badges that come on any model you end up paying for in the price. Its just not the engine size that makes it cost more its the better rims, better hood, better bumpers as compared to the V6's. Ford wont give that to us for free and they would have to price the V6's a lot closer to the cost of the Cobra's. Just not feasible.

Even if a GT has all the nuggets under the hood to take down other Cobra's modded or not it still does not mean its ok to put Cobra badges on it. Unless it comes w/a build sheet and number then its not a real cobra and therefore should not be displayed as one

If I ever own a Cobra, I'm putting V6 badging all over it. Maybe even a V6 body kit and wheels.

No clue, I just know something made a nasty noise @launch and it stopped running. Funny and sad at the same time (ok more funny).
