PATS WTF?!?!

So I scored this beautiful mustang but the key was broke off in the ignition. The old one is out and you can basically start it w/ a screwdriver as long as the broken key is against the collum. I get the new ignition, temp plates (30 days) and it time to head off to the dealership to get the ignition installed and new keys programmed. This MF'r won't start! I was like a little kid who gets a new bike for christmas and then someone steals it. It did this before and I had to take the new keys (literally) about 20 feet away and it fired right up. Now it turns over, runs for about 1 sec, turns off and the theft light flashes like crazy. Any ideas to get this thing running or should I just have it towed over? Thanks in advance guys.

yeah tow it back. Could be a wrong ignition cylinder or maybie some safety switch is loose. We get alot of that at my dealership cause most of the techs suck here, but they usually fix it the second time around. They shouldnt charge you anything cause the jobs already paid for and not fixed. Give them all sorts of hell if they try to charge you.

Hopefully it should be there in a couple days. If I can't get off from work a friend of mine is going to meet the tow truck and follow it to the dealership.
