This motor us staying stock, driving it til it quits. At 200k miles, it doesn't have much longer lol. Next motor will have the goodies.

Dont believe that for a minute. These engines have been known to go 500K + miles. The 5.4 2v in my wifes truck has 301K miles on it right now and she drives it daily. At 298K i changed valve seals and installed pi cams. Other than that, its stock........still has the stock starter on it.

About the only thing i ever see go bad on a well maintained mod motor at 200k miles is the rear main seal. Im not looking forward to replacing that on the 5.4 in my truck (big trans and the transfer case is HEAVY!)

Fix your stock intake and you can never break it again. That's what I did. Cut the plastic nipple off and tap some threads get a pipe with matching threads, coat the pipe with quiksteel or jbweld and then install the pipe and coat the mating spots with jb weld. I broke 2 intakes back to back then did this and it holds up great.
