So we tapped my intake last night and low and behold my buddy didn't do it completely straight, my question is what can I do to fix the gap?

weld, redrill, retap.

other (red-neck engineering) methods may include using excessively large amounts of tephlon thread sealant.....

Use silicone. Its pipe 3/8 thread even if its not stright the threads is what seals it the sensor doesn't have to be screwed all the way down.

jonesy. you can always tap it larger, get a plumbing adaptor and run it that way.

probably be ugly as ****, but whatever.

my car is riddled with plumbing fixtures:
