pi intake question

alright ive been told that i have a dorman npi on the board but i was also told that an indicator for the pi is that the first runner goes to the driver side of the car which mine does. ive been back and forth on it and will get some pics up . i jsut dont want to go buy a pi manifold if i already have one.

Get some good quality pics up, if the first runner goes to the driver's side then it is a PI intake, but from your last pic it's hard to see anything, it looked like it was pre-tapped. I've been wrong before though.

well i took a better look at it and the first runner def goes to the pass side. damnit lol

look at how deep it goes into the valley between the heads..

You can't tell for sure even if the aluminum cross over is is pre tapped, I know of a couple people that swapped over the aluminum cross over from a non PI intake to the PI intake. Only for sure way to tell that I know of is to pull it off and measure the height of it or look at that intake ports but still you have to pull it off.

The runner's run opposite on a PI intake, you can tell by looking, but the original pic he posted is like a cell pic, so it's itty, lol.

I saw that pic, took me a few seconds to figure out if an intake was in the picture. I still have my non PI intake I will take a look tonight and see if I notice anything else thats different.

ya sorry abou the pic it was in my garage at night and i couldnt find my camera. but i did take some but noticed that the first runner goes to the passenger side so i take it its indeed a non pi intake.
