What year did this start? I am thinking of doing the PI swap on my f150 to get a little more umph but have no idea what year they started this.

Also I have read some threads that the 98 had the romeo motor (whatever that is, remember Im a pushrod guy) so enlighten me please :)

only thing different from the romeo and windsor heads is the number of bolts for the valvecovers. they were made in different plants because there was a fire in one plant. so all heads started to come out from the other plant. after everything was up and running again, the heads were back to normal. so a 96 mustang can put 03 valve covers on the heads if you would like.

you will also need a pi intake also because the ports are different.
