PI motors

Hey im new to 4.6's but i was wondering what motors have the PI heads and cams? I have a 96 Gt and i was at the junkyard this past weekend and found a crown vic with a 4.6. Im goin gto be building a motor for my car soon but was wondering if the heads on the vic were pi or not. Im buying the motor anyway to build it but just wondered if the heads and intake could be thrown on for now. I can do all the work myself as im a mechanic but i just wanted to know about the PI cars.

I don't think the Vic's had the PI style castings until '02 or something. Probably need to research
this more. GT
